Fire, lightning and ice against an army
Set in the old Oyo Empire, Bashorun pits a lone warrior chief against waves of foot soldiers and flying attackers. Besides a basic attack and a jump, you wield three elemental powers: Firestorm, Lightning and Ice. Each one needs time to recharge, so the fights reward timing and spacing far more than button mashing.
How to play Bashorun
- Fight the troops that come at you on the ground and the fliers that swoop in from above.
- Use your basic attack on lone enemies and keep the elemental powers for crowds and dangerous foes.
- Pick up coins as you fight to build the total in the skull-coin counter at the top.
- Keep fighting until you are knocked out and the Game Over screen ends the run.

Tips to play better
- Lock a pack in place with Ice, then hit the frozen group with Firestorm to get the most out of both powers.
- Clear the fliers first; ground troops are far easier to handle when nothing is diving at you.
- Avoid starting a new wave with every power recharging, and keep at least one ready.
- Clear a lane before collecting the coins in it, since a few coins are never worth a big hit to your health.

When should I use Firestorm, Lightning or Ice?
Firestorm is best against tightly packed groups, Lightning can pick off a single dangerous target, and Ice stops a rush so you can reposition. Mixing all three is safer than leaning on one.
What does Bashorun mean?
In the Oyo Empire, Bashorun was the title of the head of the Oyo Mesi, the council of senior chiefs. The game uses that history as the backdrop for its hero.
