Jump, shoot and blast green monsters for cash
Grand Commander sends a tough, headband-wearing hero through a red-sky industrial base where green monsters wait on rooftops and in the dirt. One button makes him jump, another fires his gun, and ice, fire and lightning powers sit ready along the bottom of the screen. Downed monsters pay out cash, and three lives decide how long the run lasts.
How to play Grand Commander
- Use the up-arrow button on the left to jump onto rooftops or over trouble.
- Use the bullet button on the right to shoot the green monsters; downed ones pay out cash.
- Trigger the ice, fire or lightning button at the bottom when a crowd builds up.
- Watch the three portraits in the top corner: they are your lives, and the run ends when they run out.

Tips to play better
- The blue orb counter in the top bar drains as the fight goes on, so make your shots count.
- Monsters stand at different heights, so jump to get a clear line on the ones up on the rooftops.
- Hold a special power in reserve for moments when several monsters bunch together.
- The hourglass counts how long the run has lasted, which gives you a time to beat on the next attempt.

How many lives do I get in Grand Commander?
Three, shown as the commander's face in the top corner. Lose all three and the run is over, so play more carefully once you are down to the last one.
Does the commander have special attacks?
Yes. Three buttons at the bottom of the screen, marked with ice, fire and lightning, trigger special powers. Use them in crowded moments, then go back to your regular gun.
