Hold, release and bridge the gap to the next pillar
JAGO is a one-touch bridge game. A warrior in a feathered headdress and carved mask stands on a pillar, and holding down grows a wooden stick that tips over when you let go. Judge the length right and the warrior walks to the next pillar for a point; misjudge it and the warrior falls, ending the run.
How to play JAGO
- Press the big play button on the menu to start a run.
- Hold the mouse button or your finger down to grow the stick upward from the edge of the pillar.
- Let go and the stick tips over; if it reaches the next pillar, the warrior walks across and you score a point.
- A stick that falls short or overshoots sends the warrior tumbling, and the results board shows your score, your best score and a retry button.

Tips to play better
- The stick grows at a steady rate, so count the beat it takes to span a gap instead of staring at the tip.
- Gaps change width from one pillar to the next, so judge each one fresh rather than repeating your last hold.
- Overshooting fails just like falling short; aim for the near half of the next pillar.
- The scenery changes between runs, from a tropical island to a village at night, so judge by the pillar edges, not the background.

JAGO FAQ
What makes the warrior fall in JAGO?
A stick that is too short or too long. It has to come down on top of the next pillar, so both undershooting and overshooting end the run.
Where can I see my best score?
On the carved totem sign on the menu and on the results board after each run, next to the score you just made.
