Line up cosmic gems and chase your best score
Space Match 3 sets a swap-and-match board against a glowing purple galaxy. You trade places between two neighboring pieces to line up three or more of a kind, then watch the gap refill from above. The title screen lists your best and last scores side by side, which turns every round into a quiet duel with your own record.
How to play Space Match 3
- Press the big round play button to open a fresh board.
- Swap two pieces that sit side by side to form a row or column of three or more matching icons.
- Matched icons vanish, new ones drop in from the top, and any lines they form on the way down clear by themselves.
- Keep the matches coming to build your score, then compare it with your saved best when the round is over.
Controls
| Mouse | Click or drag a piece onto a neighbor to swap them |

Tips to play better
- Start low on the board; clears near the bottom shuffle the most pieces above them and can spark extra matches.
- Before you swap, look for a move that lines up two sets at the same time.
- When nothing jumps out, scan column by column for a piece that sits one step away from two of its twins.
- After a big clear, pause and study the new pieces before your next swap, since fresh chains often line up right there.

Space Match 3 FAQ
Can I swap any two pieces on the board?
Only pieces that sit right next to each other can trade places. Aim every swap at a line of three or more, since that is what clears pieces and earns points.
What do the best and last scores on the title screen mean?
Best score is your highest result so far, and last score is what you made in your most recent round. Comparing the two is the quickest way to see whether your matching is improving.
