Gold, gems and TNT under one swinging claw
Jack the prospector has a claw, a ticking clock and a mine stuffed with treasure. Below him lie gold nuggets of every size, white diamonds, red rubies and green emeralds, mixed in with gray rocks, old bones and barrels of TNT. Time each drop to hit the cash target before the clock runs out, and think twice before your claw touches a TNT barrel.
How to play Gold Miner Jack
- Note the cash target and the time limit for the level.
- Let the claw swing and click or tap the moment it lines up with something valuable.
- Whatever the claw catches gets pulled back up, quickly when light and slowly when heavy.
- Hit the target before the clock runs out to advance; fall short and the game ends.

Tips to play better
- Small gems like diamonds reel in quickly, which makes them ideal grabs when the clock is nearly out.
- Hooking a TNT barrel sets it off and wrecks everything around it, so save that for clusters of rocks.
- Rocks and bones are best left alone unless nothing better is in reach; they tie up the claw for little gain.
- Before the first drop, map out a route of quick, valuable grabs instead of reacting swing by swing.

Gold Miner Jack FAQ
What happens if the claw hits a TNT barrel?
The barrel explodes and destroys the items around it. That can clear away rocks, but it can also blow up gold or gems you were planning to grab.
What happens when the timer runs out in Gold Miner Jack?
If you have reached the cash target, the next level opens. If not, the run ends there and you can try again with a better plan.
