Match three colors and drop whole clusters

Professor Bubble is a portrait-style bubble shooter, introduced by a cheerful scientist with a bushy yellow mustache. Glossy striped bubbles hang overhead, and you fire one at a time from a launcher below them. Land a shot next to two or more of the same color and the group bursts, dragging down any bubbles that were hanging from it.

How to play Professor Bubble

  1. Check which color is loaded in your launcher.
  2. Aim at a spot where it will touch at least two bubbles of the same color.
  3. Fire to burst the group and let any unsupported bubbles fall away.
  4. Keep clearing, and never let the bubbles creep down to the bottom line.

Tips to play better

  • Hunt for the bubble that holds up the biggest overhang; bursting its group can drop a dozen others at once.
  • Bank shots off the side walls to slip a bubble into gaps you cannot hit directly.
  • When no match is possible, park the bubble beside its own color so it sets up a later pop instead of blocking one.
  • If the pile gets close to the bottom line, stop chasing big combos and thin out the lowest rows first.

Professor Bubble FAQ

What happens to bubbles that are no longer attached?

They drop off the board along with the group you popped. Cutting the bubbles that hold up a big cluster is the quickest way to clear a lot of the screen with one shot.

How does a game of Professor Bubble end?

It ends when the bubbles push down to the line by your launcher. Keeping the lowest rows thin gives you room to recover from a bad shot.
