Clear the woods and settle a cosy hex island
Hex Hamlet is a relaxed village builder on an island made of hexagon tiles, with pine forest, a winding river and rocky hills around a small camp. You start by sweeping your pointer along the forest edge to fell trees for wood, then hire villagers at the Settlers' Camp so they chop for you. Wood buys a house, a lumber mill, a farm or a flag, and the camp can grow into a town hall.
How to play Hex Hamlet
- Move the pointer over trees at the edge of the forest to chop them and collect wood.
- Click the camp in the middle and hire villagers; they keep chopping on their own.
- Choose buildings from the bar at the bottom, such as a House, Lumber Mill or Farm.
- Watch the island's meadow percentage and stars at the top as it grows.
- Upgrade the camp to a Town Hall to unlock more buildings.

Tips to play better
- Hire a few villagers early; one worker lifted wood income from +0.4 to +2.9 a second.
- Each new villager costs a little more wood than the last.
- Use the x2 speed button on the left to hurry slow stretches.
