Flip, remember and pair up every playing card

A grid of face-down playing cards lies on a green felt table in Casino Cards Memory, and all you bring to it is a sharp memory. Each turn you flip two cards hoping for an identical pair; misses turn back over and stay hidden until you find them again. Because every card has a rank and suit you can name in your head, the layout is easier to memorize than it looks.

How to play Casino Cards Memory

  1. Press Start to lay the cards out face down in a grid.
  2. Click one card to flip it, then click a second.
  3. Two identical cards make a pair and leave play; any other combination turns back over.
  4. Keep going until you have found every pair on the table.

Tips to play better

  • Name each card silently as it turns, rank, suit and spot together: 'jack of clubs, bottom left.'
  • Spend the first flip of every turn on a card you have never seen, so each turn adds new information.
  • If that first flip shows a card you spotted earlier, go straight to its partner instead of guessing.
  • Scan the grid in the same order every time, row by row, so each position stays tied to a mental map.

Casino Cards Memory FAQ

Do two cards have to be exactly the same to match?

Yes. A pair means two identical cards, so check the suit as well as the rank before you count on a match.

Are the cards in the same place every game?

No. The deck is shuffled each time you start, so you rebuild your mental map from scratch on every new game.
