Pair up cupcakes, cake rolls and popsicles from memory

Sweet Memory is a card-matching game dressed in pink frosting. Every card hides a dessert, such as a strawberry cupcake, a cake roll or a chocolate-dipped popsicle, and your job is to uncover them in matching pairs. The boards get bigger as you progress, stepping up from eight cards to twelve and then sixteen, so it suits young players and adults alike.

How to play Sweet Memory

  1. Click or tap a card to flip it and see the treat underneath.
  2. Flip a second card; if both show the same dessert, the pair stays face up.
  3. If they differ, both cards turn back over, so remember what you saw and where.
  4. Match every pair to clear the board and move on to a bigger one.

Tips to play better

  • Flip cards in a fixed order, row by row, so their positions are easier to recall.
  • Name each treat quietly as it appears, such as 'cupcake, top left'; saying it helps it stick.
  • When you turn up a card whose twin you have already seen, go straight for that twin.
  • Do not try to memorize the whole board at once; focus on the last few cards you uncovered.
