Cactus country has a zombie problem

Zombie Shooter sets up a sunny desert stage of cacti, sandstone blocks and a steel girder hanging from a chain, then fills it with green zombies, some on the ground and some perched on towers and ledges. You play a helmeted soldier at the left edge, aiming with a crosshair and counting every round, since the MU counter at the bottom is limited. Clear the level and you earn stars; leave zombies standing and it is Try Again.

How to play Zombie Shooter

  1. Look over the level and note which zombies stand in the open and which sit on towers or ledges.
  2. Line the crosshair up on a zombie and shoot; the MU counter at the bottom drops with every round.
  3. Look at what hangs or balances above a group, such as the girder on its chain or the iron ball on its ledge.
  4. Take out every zombie to clear the level and earn stars, or face the Try Again screen if some are still standing.

Tips to play better

  • Count the zombies against your ammo before you fire, and save rounds for the hard-to-reach ones on the towers.
  • Check what hangs above a group; bringing something heavy down may do more than a single bullet.
  • Take the shots with a clear line first, then work out angles for the zombies tucked behind blocks.
  • If the level goes wrong early, restart instead of spending the rest of your ammo.

Zombie Shooter FAQ

Why did I get the Try Again screen?

Zombies were still standing when you could no longer finish the job, usually because the ammo ran out. Restart the level and look for shots that deal with more than one at a time.

What is the MU number at the bottom of the screen?

It is your ammunition for the level. Every shot lowers it, so plan your shots instead of firing freely.
