Swap goofy jelly monsters into rows of three
Googly-eyed jelly monsters in blue, orange, magenta, green and inky black fill the board in Monsters Match 3, a swap-and-match puzzle set against a sunny beach. You trade places between two neighbors to build a row or column of three or more alike, and the matched monsters pop off the board. Fresh ones drop from above, and a well-placed swap can set off a chain of extra matches.
How to play Monsters Match 3
- Find two neighboring monsters that would complete a line if they swapped places.
- Swap them to line up three or more of the same monster in a row or column.
- Matched monsters disappear and new ones fall in from the top, sometimes forming more matches by themselves.
- Keep the matches coming to build your score; lines of four or five are worth chasing.

Tips to play better
- Work near the bottom of the board when you can; clearing low spots moves more monsters and invites chain reactions.
- Before swapping, check whether the move also lines up a second match nearby.
- If a fourth matching monster sits next to a line of three, build the longer line instead.
- When nothing seems to fit, scan column by column; vertical matches are the easiest to overlook.

Monsters Match 3 FAQ
Can I swap monsters diagonally in Monsters Match 3?
No. Swaps work between monsters that touch side by side or one above the other, and the swap needs to create a line of at least three.
What are chain reactions?
When matched monsters vanish, the ones above slide down and new ones drop in. If they land in a line of three, that line clears by itself for extra points.
