Link matching animals, even diagonally, before time ends

Animals Crush Match 3 fills a grid with cartoon animal tiles and starts a clock. You drag a line through at least three identical animals to clear them, and because links can run diagonally as well as across and up, a quick eye can stretch a simple match into a long zigzag chain. Longer chains are worth more, so speed and vision both count.

How to play Animals Crush Match 3

  1. Press on an animal and drag through neighboring tiles showing the same animal.
  2. Link at least three in any direction, diagonals included, then release to clear the chain.
  3. Fresh animals fall in to fill the gaps and open up new chains.
  4. Rack up as many points as you can before the timer hits zero.

Tips to play better

  • Hunt for L shapes and zigzags; diagonal links hide chains you'd miss scanning only rows and columns.
  • Before you let go, check whether another matching animal touches the end of your chain.
  • Clear tiles low on the grid when you can, since the animals that drop in may line up your next chain.
  • In the last seconds, stop searching for the perfect route and clear every quick chain you can find.

Animals Crush Match 3 FAQ

Do diagonal links count?

Yes. Animals can be linked diagonally as well as horizontally and vertically, and using those corners is the easiest way to build long chains.

Should I make many short chains or a few long ones?

A long chain earns more from a single move, so take a moment to extend it while time allows. Switch to fast, short chains when the clock is almost out.
