Cartoon Candy Match 3 fills a six-by-six board with smiling stars, hearts, jelly cubes and gumdrops, then starts a clock beneath it. You clear sweets by dragging a line through three or more of the same kind, and the line can bend and step diagonally as it goes. A multiplier sometimes shows beside your score, and your best result sits above the board.

How to play Cartoon Candy Match 3

1. Pick a sweet and trace a path from it across touching sweets of the same kind; the path may turn corners or step diagonally.
2. Let go once the chain holds three or more, and the sweets clear while new ones drop in from above.
3. Work quickly, since the score climbs with every clear and a multiplier can appear beside it.
4. When the timer below the board runs out, the round is over and your best score stays at the top.

Tips to play better

• Start each chain at the sweet farthest from the rest of its group, so the line can sweep through all of them without doubling back.
• Count the sweets in a cluster before you draw; one route that touches all of them beats several short chains.
• Stars and hearts stand out against the pastel cubes and puffs, which makes them the quickest chains to spot in a hurry.
• Glance at the timer between chains instead of watching it, so your eyes stay on the board.
