Jump the rocks and keep running on a red planet
Scary Run is set on a rusty red alien planet, where a frightened kid in a red hoodie runs across rocky ground as a flying saucer drifts overhead. A skeleton lurks at the left edge of the screen, little green aliens wander the sand and rows of coins line the route. All you control is the jump, so every rock is a timing test, and the Game Over screen tallies your score.
How to play Scary Run
- Watch the ground ahead as the kid starts running.
- Jump over rocks and other obstacles as they come at you.
- Grab the rows of coins along the route when the jump is safe.
- A crash brings up the Game Over screen with your score; press replay to go again.

Tips to play better
- Time each jump off the obstacle itself, not the scrolling background, which can trick your eye.
- Stay calm after a close call; panicked double taps are what send you into the next rock.
- Larger rocks need an earlier takeoff than small ones, so judge each jump by the size of what is coming.
- Keep a light, even tapping rhythm instead of hammering the screen when obstacles bunch up.

Scary Run FAQ
Is Scary Run actually scary?
Not very. A skeleton and the kid's worried face supply the spooky part, but the drawings are colorful and cartoonish, so it suits younger players too.
How do I last longer in Scary Run?
Learn the length of a single jump and take off at the same distance from every rock. Consistent timing beats fast reactions in the long run.
