Mixed sums against the clock for kids and grown-ups
Math Game turns the four basic operations into a fast, no-frills classroom quiz. A problem such as 28 - 7 appears on a green chalkboard with four answer cards below it, while a countdown in the corner runs for the whole round. Answer as many as you can before it hits zero, which makes it handy practice for school-age kids and a quick mental warm-up for adults.
How to play Math Game
- Read the problem written on the chalkboard.
- Work out the answer and click or tap the matching card among the four below it.
- A green tick marks the right card, your score goes up and the next problem appears.
- Keep answering until the countdown in the top corner runs out, then try to beat that score.

Tips to play better
- Learn the times tables up to 10 by heart; multiplication and division questions get much quicker.
- Rule out answers that are clearly too big or too small before you calculate exactly.
- For subtraction, count up from the smaller number to the larger one; it is often faster than counting down.
- Check the operation sign before answering, because mixing up plus and times is an easy slip in a mixed quiz.
