Desert maze tank battles for one or two players
Sahara Invasion is a top-down tank battle fought inside a desert maze of red brick walls, gray steel blocks and dry scrub. You steer your tank with a four-way pad, fire with a big red button and hunt down the enemy tanks prowling the corridors. Counters beside the arena track the enemies still standing, your health and the cash you earn, and missions are picked from a row of Top Secret folders.
How to play Sahara Invasion
- Choose one-player or two-player on the title screen, then pick an open mission from the Top Secret folders.
- Drive through the maze with the arrow pad and line your cannon up with an enemy tank.
- Press the fire button to shoot, using the brick and steel walls as cover.
- Destroy enemy tanks until the counter on the right runs down, keeping an eye on the heart counter on the left.

Tips to play better
- Line up in the same row or column as an enemy before firing, since the arrow pad keeps your tank on straight lines.
- Duck behind a steel block when several tanks close in, then pick them off one at a time.
- Watch the enemy counter rather than chasing every tank you see; it tells you how much of the mission is left.
- In two-player mode, sit side by side so both players can reach their controls comfortably.
