Race downhill against two rival cars
Deadly Descent puts you on a broad multi-lane road that runs downhill between rock walls and palm trees, with a city of glass towers waiting at the bottom. Two rival cars line up next to your boxy grey sedan, and the panel in the corner tracks your race position, top speed and best time. A speedometer at the bottom shows how fast you are going and which gear the car is in.
How to play Deadly Descent
- Read the controls card and press OK to reach the start line.
- Hold W or the up arrow to accelerate; the gears change by themselves as the speed climbs.
- Steer with A and D or the left and right arrows to pass the other cars.
- Press S or the down arrow to brake, or to reverse when you are stopped.
- Watch the POS counter in the top-left corner to see your place among the three cars.

Tips to play better
- Build speed on the long straights; the car reaches 100 km/h in third gear within a few seconds.
- Pass rivals in an open lane rather than sitting right behind them.
- Try the C key if the default camera hides too much of the road ahead.
- The restart button in the top-right corner starts a fresh run at any time.
