Hold the slide, hit the target, beat the clock
Speed alone gets you nowhere in Drift Challenge: points come from sliding the car sideways through corners. Each level shows a target score and a target time across the top of the screen, with your drift score and a running clock beside them. Hit the target and cross the finish line in time, and the next level opens up.
How to play Drift Challenge
- Check the target score and target time shown at the top of the screen.
- Accelerate into a corner, kick the rear out with the handbrake and steer to hold the slide.
- Longer, smoother drifts build your score faster.
- Build your drift score past the target and cross the finish line within the target time to open the next level.

Tips to play better
- Scrub off speed while the car still points straight, and only then swing it into the slide; arriving too fast spins it around.
- Ease off full throttle mid-drift, because partial power usually keeps the angle steadier.
- Straighten out gently on the exit; snapping back to grip is how cars end up in the wall.
- Use the handbrake for tight hairpins and a lighter touch on long, fast bends.

What is the drift target in Drift Challenge?
It is the score you need on the current level, shown at the top left beside your drift score: 1,000 on level 1 and 1,300 on level 2. Longer, cleaner slides build points faster.
Why does my car keep spinning out?
You are probably entering corners too fast or holding the handbrake too long. Slow down before the turn and use a short tap to start the slide.
